I know this doesn't apply to most of you but I just want to post it everyone can see what has been going on.
Jessica had a major surgery on April 2 & it’s been extremely hard on us. She had surgery to remove a small tumor that grows inside the inner ear. Unfortunately, it was incredibly infected & the infection had spread to her brain. They had to drill two small holes in the back on her head to drain the fluids. The infection has thinned out the inner lining on her brain. She did make it through a 5 hour surgery & is in recovery. She is at home, not working, and trying to get better. Things have been rough & busy for us. I have been working as much as possible to make up for the fact that she hasn’t been able to work for the past three weeks. I haven’t had the time to even sleep let alone talk to a lot of people. I wanted to write this so that I could address everything & everyone in one step. I’m not begging, I’m not trying to write about how terrible life is, I’m not trying to be a bitch, I don’t mean any harm in writing this. I just wanted to give everyone a small update on what is going on.

you know what i'm fucking tired of? people in ![[info]](http://p-stat.livejournal.com/img/community.gif) eyeshadowsluts who look like shit and everyone tells them they look wonderful & then people in badmakeup who post pictures of people who actually do decent make-up.
it seriously drives me nuts.
#1 - don't lie to the person. if they look bad, tell them. if they look good, tell them. don't lie. honesty is the best policy.
#2 - don't make fun of someone that you are just jealous of. just because you are jealous doesn't mean their make-up is badly blended or not wearable.

I'm such a dumbass. Today while reading my new Allure magazine I saw the part where the go around the states to find out what women are wearing (make-up wise) in different states. Well, they did Oklahoma and it was Nars lip gloss in Orgasm (obvious I live in OK because that's a staple in my make-up routine) but they said it came from Sephora. I freaked out. How come I didn't know we had a Sephora in the city? Are you freaking seriuos. Damn, I kinda wish I didn't know because now I so want to make a trip to the city to go shopping! Oh, don't worry little sephora.com I will still be a faithful shopper of yours. :)
In other Morgan news, today I am pitiful. Don't ask why because I haven't a clue. I think it's the weather. It's so dark and grey and boring today. I just feel down and out about everything. The new MAC collection came out today & as excited as I was about it, now I just feel.... bored with it. I feel like I should be spending my money on my own make-up line instead of buying MAC stuff that I could just make.
Ugh, today is just, ugh. My shoes smell like popcorn. It's weird. Annnnd, tonight is the new season premiere of First 48. That will make me happy. I love crimes. Hah. |

This weekend was wonderful. We went to Tulsa for my mom’s birthday. We bought her tickets to see Matchbox Twenty and Alanis Morissette in Oklahoma City. It was odd because Steve bought her the exact same thing. Hah. She had a birthday party for the first time in I don’t know how long. It was a lot of fun and I’m glad that everyone got together to celebrate. Her birthday often gets looked over because it’s so close to the holidays. I suppose January 6th was a great day because it was my mom’s birthday, it was ![[info]](http://p-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) peacelovevogue birthday, and the L Word started! Sad to say but I figured Shane couldn’t stay monogamous. It’s sad really because I hoped she would really stay with that blonde girl. I can’t remember her name but whenever I watch the show I pretend I’m her so that I could be Shane’s little housewife. Haha – oh god, I’m such a loser!
Anyway, we’ve been having issues with Jessica’s family again. Not that the issues ever went away but her mom & sister have been blowing up her phone as well as my phone. Her mom also emailed me some bullshit letter. I just don’t understand how someone can just sit there and point blank lie to you. It makes me so mad. That’s something that I can’t stand. I hate being mad, so mad that I want to hit something because that is SO NOT ME. That’s how I was when I was with Johnny and obviously, that wasn’t an ideal situation.
So this is week two of our new budget & so far we’ve been doing really well. Of course, I had already spent my allowance by Tuesday night (I actually get paid on Wednesdays) but whatever, I mean Urban Decay’s sale was going to expire (thanks girl_decorated and MAC’s free shipping code was expiring soon. Hah. Excuses, excuses. I’m super proud of us because we haven’t been eating out. We ate out while we were in Tulsa (but that was expected) and then today at lunch but every other day and night it’s been at home. We’ve saved a ton of money doing that. Also, Jessica has quit smoking. I’m really excited for her. It’s been nearly 4 months since I quit smoking & my body feels so amazing. I’m planning on going to get Go Smile soon because that was my reward to myself. If I quit smoking for at least 3 months (and I never plan on going back!!!) then I could get Go Smile. I figured it was way too expensive to get done if I was just going to stain my teeth again with nicotine.
Anyway, it’s time I get back to work. Bid season is coming to an end (thank God!) and then I won’t be nearly as stressed out.
